Well... may not be exactly "handmade" but digital art is amazing!! I found some nice artists in etsy, offering prints of their digital artwork; Mizzdraconia has a great selection of prints, all inspired by fantasy setting and heroines. Check her shop out, and get immersed in a world of amazons, mermaids, pirates, and epic fantasy! She uses a digital tablet to make her beautiful strokes and compose the image.
My husband also makes 3d graphics for hobby, and maintains a deviantArt and Renderosity page.
